This is a favourite stop for us on our way eastward and it never disappoints. Staff are welcoming, restaurants are efficient and the food choices delight the palate. As a real treat, book yourself a River view room.

Disappointing

Location was okay. Just found it was a very average hotel with less than stellar service. If I didn't have a chemistry background I may have though the pool was nice...and the area and atmosphere in the indoor pool was nice, but the water was awfully strongly chlorine scented indicating a problem with organic contamination. Restaurant food was mediocre, especially for the price and service. So don't bother. Go out to eat. The room was okay. The bed was quite low to the floor by 2026 standards and exceptionally soft - EXCEPTIONALLY soft. Not back friendly.

Overall, we had a good stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, the views were beautiful, and the property was clean and well maintained.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was a major disappointment. The cocktails were served noticeably underfilled, which felt poor value for the price. We also ordered the fish and chips, and for $33 it was incredibly underwhelming—just two small pieces of fish presented in a pretentious way with fries from McDonald’s it seemed like! The portion size and quality simply didn’t justify the cost.
We would recommend the hotel itself for its location, cleanliness, and views, but we’d suggest eating elsewhere.

Massive hotel. Nice bar as well as the restaurant with a wonderful staff. Tiny bathroom. Very noisy air conditioner. The room gets hot if you turn it off. Aside from that it's all good.

Clean room, great environment. Restaurant and terrace personnel very helpful. We really enjoyed our one night stay during our trip back from Eastern Quebec
