Very pleasant experience. The staff was generous to extend our checkout time and gave us access key to use the amenities on the resort.

The location was great. The Pine lodge is a bit dated and run down. The room needs some maintenance/repair. The toilet was very wobbly, the blow dryer was broken, and the bathroom fan was grinding so loud we thought the motor was going to burn out. For the pricy cost of staying at this resort, we expected much better.

Private beach access was great! Carpet felt dirty, rooms were outdated and breakfast buffet was just okay with many items that ran out with slow replacement. Staff were generally pretty good. More were super friendly and helpful.

Rooms and especially bathrooms need to be renovated. Front desk staff was not very welcoming. Upon check out you are usually asked about your stay ..... nothing. No feedback requested or wanted. Beach area convenient but needed to be cleaned. Overall found it to be overpriced.

We had a great visit over all. The grounds and gardens were lovely and well kept and the beach access and pool were wonderful. The interior of the buildings is ready for an update but service was great. We had booked a standard room in the pine lodge. It was not as clean or spacious as hoped and had only black out blinds on a very dirty window. The hairdryer and Keurig coffee machine didn’t work. We were able to move across the hall to the ‘deluxe’ room which had a larger fridge, working appliances and a lovely patio over looking the greens. I would highly recommend this option over the front facing rooms with no balcony or patio. The second floor room was perfect for my mom as there were no stairs to walk as there were in other areas. Breakfast buffet was okay- think diner more than resort breakfast but it hit the spot. Overall we enjoyed the facilities and access to the lake was wonderful.
