Summerside Sea and Sun

Island Home Bed and Breakfast ranks as one of our best Bed and Breakfast stays.
It is a central location to Summerside’s downtown and tourist area. Close to restaurants, it’s famous ice cream shop and wharf. The home is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Each room is decorated in a different theme. The owners were very friendly and very knowledgeable of PEI. Breakfast was nothing like we have had before, and Friday is homemade waffle day! Every day Sharon had a different theme when decorating the dining room table. The food was amazing! When travelling to this side of the island, this B & B is a great location to stay and venture from. Although we were fed well, the quest in the attic seemed a little thin!

A home away from home.

If you're looking for a home away from home, this is the place to stay. The name says it all. From the moment my husband and I walked in we felt so welcome. It was like staying with friends. We had the King room. The bed was very comfortable. We had a cute sitting area where we had a snack and a cup of tea after exploring for the day. The room and bathroom were both a good size. Right outside the bedroom doors there is everything you need for tea and coffee plus a plate of cookies or another delicious treat. Homemade breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. Each morning the table was decorated with a different theme. I told Sharon that I loved lighthouses so our last morning that was the theme. Mike and Sharon know the good spots to eat and what areas to check out. I can't say enough good things about this B&B and I plan on returning. Check it out if you're traveling to the island.

Our 3 days in Summerside PEI

Ideally located in Summerside, steps away from the main street and waterfront, this place is a gem. The room was spacious, with access to a common area that is stocked up with anything you'd need, from coffee to toothpaste, to ice or cookies! But if the best are the owners, Sharon and Mike, who put on a show every morning at breakfast. Every day is a different theme and a different menu, but rest ensure, every day is most excellent! The attention to details that the hosts put in that place and for the guest experience, is simply second to none!

Our "Island Home" when we visit PEI!

Outstanding: hospitality, comfort, clean, travel advice, walkable , quiet neighbourhood, outside patio.Breakfast is delicious and an experience, This was our 3rd time staying with Mike & Sharon and highly recommend these accommodations. They have thought of everything to make a vacation on the Island extraordinary. Being greeted by Danny Boy always makes us smile!

Beautiful historic B&B in the heart of Summerside

Recently we visited PEI for the first time and were fortunate enough to book two nights in Summerside at Sharon & Mike's (and Danny Boy) lovely B&B. The Inn and room were beautiful & Sharon and Mike were perfect hosts. Note to future travelers - save room for breakfast! - exquisite!!
