Unexpectedly Great!
The website photos do not do this property justice. It looks brand new, well kept and is not as devoid of character as the photos make it look. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and have all the amenities you would expect and more. Our room had a microwave, in addition to a fridge and coffee machine. The bathrooms had everything we needed, but could do with a few more hooks to hang towels and clothes on.
There a nice bar area by the lobby which turns into the breakfast area in the morning. The breakfast itself is a good hot and cold continental breakfast, which has the basics covered. There is a market area in the lobby and the hotel guests have free access to a water park, sauna, steam, gym etc at the complex next door.
The hotel is close to the waterfront, restaurants, shops and Holman's Ice Cream shop.
Paula checked us in and was super helpful, going above and beyond. Excellent customer service!

Overall, we had a good stay and would consider staying here again. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable, breakfast was convenient, and the location is great.
There were a few disappointments. The pool was unavailable due to construction/maintenance for the final two days of our stay, which was unfortunate, especially when travelling with a young child and looking forward to using the pool.
We found the front desk service inconsistent. One employee seemed unsure about several basic questions and there was confusion surrounding a room change that had already been arranged. On the other hand, the gentleman working the following morning was excellent — knowledgeable, helpful and professional — so the experience depended on who was working.
I was also disappointed when I asked about extending our multi-night stay by one additional Friday night and the rate was around $400. I understand rates fluctuate with demand, but I was surprised there wasn't more flexibility for an existing guest wanting to extend their stay.
Finally, people were smoking very close to the hotel entrance. I would like to see the designated smoking area clearly identified and kept well away from the entrance.
Despite these issues, we enjoyed the hotel overall. With more consistent front desk service and better communication around unavailable amenities, this could easily have been an excellent stay.

Perfect get-a-way spot!
Hotel was clean (rooms, lobby etc.), bed was comfy, and room was perfect size! Fresh towels were supplied with a refresh of our room if we wanted. Hotel staff was so kind from the front desk staff to the lovely team keeping the delicious breakfast fresh and stocked! Enjoyed evenings at the hotel bar with great conversations with locals, visitors, and bar staff. The location is perfect to travel and see all of PEI wonders while still being close to amenities. The hotel is located close to Summerside's lovely board walk with amazing views, and delicious ice cream nearby. Also a five minute walk from the hotel is The Summerside Shipyard restaurant which is a must try (book a reservation it gets very busy because its so good!!).

I didnt enjoy staying there. Booked it for the pool and it was not accessible due to maintenance so wasted 2 days and one night in Pei.

Got there and pool was closed for scheduled maintenance for 2 weeks
No mention of this at time of booking and was the only reason for booking there with kids
