I stayed here with my two daughters for a concert. It was affordable and not my first time in Toronto. It’s not far from attractions, off Queen Street East
Don’t expect a five star hotel at this less expensive price. It’s a clean place to lay your head. The beds and sheets were clean and the mattresses very comfortable!

Upon arrival it was noted the building is not as advertised. We would base it as a shelter at best. No one answered the bell for check in and we choose to just leave rather then even try to stay there. Buyer beware!

First, the good: the room was clean and reasonably well maintained. We had no concerns about bedbugs, dirt, or general cleanliness. The accommodations were quite spartan, but acceptable for a quick overnight stay.
The main problem was the surrounding neighbourhood. There were many homeless people and transients nearby, and even though our room was on the sixth floor, we could still hear people outside shouting and swearing at various hours of the day and night. As a solo traveller, I probably would have rolled with the punches, but I was travelling with my 11-year-old daughter and did not feel entirely comfortable.
For a brief, inexpensive overnight stay in Toronto, it may be adequate, but it is definitely not for the faint of heart and would not be my first choice for families.

The staff was the only good thing here. Good people doing the best with what they have. One thing not mentioned in any description of this property is that there are existing long term tenants of the building. These tenants immediately made me feel unsafe. Upon entering my room I was greeted by an old, damp carpet and a shower without proper heat regulation. This is a $10 room not a $150. There are no amenities. On top of it all I was made to pay an additional $200 security deposit which again, was never mentioned in any description. I still haven't received that back.

This hotel accepted my money in advance and non refundable. When i arrived to check in, the door was locked and there was no staff to assist. There were some sketchy characters milling about and we did not feel safe. As a result, we were forced to make other arrangements.
I have tried to complain and ask for my money back, but they have yet to respond. I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.
