Modern B&B Update to a Classic Toronto Home

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at the Jane Toronto. We were able to let ourselves into the front door and into our room with a door code. Our room was beautifully appointed and the bath seemed recently renovated. Breakfast was a self-serve buffet which was convenient, especially when we had a very early checkout time. Jane was very helpful with suggestions on what to see and where to dine in Toronto and we enjoyed visiting with her. I highly recommend a stay at this beautifully renovated arts and crafts style home.

Nice space terrible bed

The Jane is certainly beautiful and has art and lovely things all around. The Jane does not have a proper
Mattress in Room 2. I woke up in so much pain from the lumpy old pillow and ridiculously worn mattress. The bed was completely concave and was one of the worst sleeps I’ve had in a hotel. Left a day early because I couldn’t imagine spending a night on that mattress.

Ideal location and bed and breakfast

Fabulous location, host and room. The room was spacious and immaculate. The breakfast was very generous. Easy communication with Jane prior and during the visit. The hosts share suggestions of places to visit and dine. Highly recommend. The neighborhood is lovely with cafes and shops plus proximity to two subway stations.

Super cool and comfortable

Loved Jane’s place.
The house is so cool. It’s very clean, wonderfully decorated with super cool art and decor. The room (room 2) was a good size, lots of natural light, cool during the heatwave, great shower.
Location is great; close to so many restaurants and cafes, lovely safe neighborhood to walk around, and close to two subway stations.
Service was excellent - Jane was very communicative ahead of the stay, made arrival/check in very clear, allowed us to leave our bags etc.
