Excellent location in Downtown Toronto, close to Union Station and the local tourist hotspots. Clean and quiet (I had an internal facing room), staff are polite and knowledgeable.

Great location

We booked the Union due to the close proximity to CN Tower, Lawrence Street Market, Eaton Centre, station and good restaurants. The room was described as small but it was a great size, plenty of storage for a case and 2 carry ons. The major downside was the noise; we were located at the rear and the bin collection was early morning / middle of the night, we could also hear drilling a couple of early mornings and vacuuming outside our door at just after 9am on a Sunday!

Amazing location and beautiful hotel. Staff was amazing, helpful and very friendly. Just wish they had a microwave or mini fridge in the room but loved it other than that.

It was hard to decide on a rating. On one hand, the place was cute. Very nice lobby, cute decor, and the Humble Donkey was A+++ (food, vibes, and staff all fantastic in the restaurant). However, we had major issues with our AC. We were damp the entire stay. We brought it up several times and were told things were working. They were not. The temperature in our room hardly changed and we were sweating all through the night. The smell from the AC was also pretty bad, and as I mentioned the humidity the ac unit created was almost unbearable. We were so glad to leave this morning, honestly. Surface level clean, but not clean in a deep way. Sticky something in the bathroom floor, corners of shower and windows etc all dirty. Bedside table had rings on it from previous guests drinks from before our check in. Just in general not great. Location was fantastic and vibes were good, though. Felt very safe on the property and enjoyed Toronto. Fix that AC, though. Another guest might not be as reasonable about it.
