Fabulous stay with lovely friendly staff

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and made us feel at home from first arriving.
Our room was in the annex. It was a big room and it was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a great stay. We had a beautiful view across the bay. The annex is up a hill from the main hotel but it is nay a short walk and there is parking up there.
The on-site pub had great entertainment and we ate in there on both nights. We had planned to eat in the restaurant on the second night but we had to rearrange as the boat tour to see the iceberg in Jones Cove was delayed to the evening because of the weather. The pub staff were very welcoming and made us feel like old friends. Highly recommend spending the night in the pub. Really enjoyed watching the Screeching in . It was great fun.
We loved staying here and if we were to return would definitely stay here. We highly recommend it!

Would stay here again

Great location and appreciate the two large beds to accommodate 4 adults. Hotel was clean and had a small kitchen. Simple to check in and out.

Above & beyond in Twillingate

We stayed 2 nights in the Annex. Lots of room. Two beds and a small kitchenette. We were only a couple, so we didn't need the 2nd bed and never used the kitchenette. Good option for a family. I have to complement the staff on their response to a crisis that I created when I only booked 2 verses 3 nights. When this was discovered mid afternoon, they called all other B&Bs, hotel in Twillingate and found each couple appropriate accommodation for the 3rd night. It was more than I was expecting and was much appreciated. We ended up with the last 2 accommodations with a vacancy in the area. Also we left a set of ear buds in our room and they found them and contacted us and mailed them to our home. You don't truly know the quality of staff until you have a crisis. They exceeded my expectations. Thanks

Perfect for exploring Twillingate!

The Anchor Hotel was in a wonderful location. We had a room in the annex with a view of the harbor. Room was good. We liked the various eating venues at the hotel. The food was very good and we did not need to go searching for restaurants.Location was great!

Nice stay - annex felt a little removed from main building.

Nice hotel. We stayed in the annex which is up a steep hill from the main hotel and restaurant. There is no sidewalk.
You can drive and park outside the annex - it’s a gravel car park which makes handling wheeled cases more difficult.
Lovely views from the bedroom out over the bay.
Room was huge - separate bedroom with one bed and a second bed in the living area. Had to unplug the fridge as it was noisy!
Breakfast wasn’t included but was well catered for in the main building.
Overall a nice quiet stay in a great location.
