3 star hotel, 5 star staff

We booked this hotel as we wanted to stay downtown and in a suite. It was right in the heart of downtown and gave us everything and more. Views, proximity and especially with a pushchair it was extremely handy as pavements are very flat. As we were in the city centre, the journey from the airport was particularly straightforward. Just take the Sky Train using contactless payment and walk 15 mins.
The suite was wonderfully spacious and well suited to our needs, when the toddler was asleep we had a separate room for tv, there was a kitchen with oven, stove and fridge/freezer.
We loved that there was an indoor pool and gym in the basement as it was relatively unused by other guests so felt private most of the time.
We also really loved the eco incentive for credit to be spent in the in house coffee shop if you did not need your room cleaned. Just be aware that there are no hot food items during the summer.
As we were in the city centre during 3-6pm most days there are happy hour deals to be found on both food and drink. We loved One Saigon for Vietnamese food, Guu for Japanese food and DAE Bak Bon Ga for Korean bbq. We also loved Chinatown which is about half an hour walk and not as dodgy as people make out, and the fact there is a cinema 5 mins down the road.
Finally when our flight was cancelled the manager on duty was very helpful in helping me get in contact with the airline and offering me the same room for me to extend my stay even though it was a particularly busy time for the hotel.

Great Location and wonderful staff

Located next to St Paul's Hospital was ideal as I had day surgery at the hospital. Great hotel and accommodating staff.

The location is great however the beds are super uncomfortable. We were with a tour group of 36 people and everyone complained. The shower was super wimpy! I would definitely try a different hotel.

Very nice but super uncomfortable beds

The location is perfect and easily walkable. There is a grocery store nearby as well as restaurants and it's an easy walk to the water. The rooms are very nice. We had 2 different rooms due to arriving early and then joining a tour group. Rooms 2907 and 3004. Both rooms had noisy air condioners that kept me awake but the worst part was the beds. They are not on box springs and are super hard. I felt every spring and ridge. I loved the coffee in the room, the roominess of our second room and the robes. We couldn't figure out why our first room on the 30th floor had two steps down to the room. There is not a railing and the steps seemed unnecessary.

Comfortable Quiet Stay Near St Paul's

Such a comfortable and quiet stay, and being close to St Paul's was a huge bonus for us. The restaurant on site was excellent, with servers who were fun and super friendly, always making us feel welcome every single time. We loved how easy it was to get around from here, with Yaletown just a short walk away and the skytrain right there for reaching all the other amenities Vancouver has to offer. The location honestly could not have been better for exploring the city, and we never felt like we were missing out on anything. The rooms were very immaculate and the whole place felt so peaceful after a long day of sightseeing. We would definitly stay here again on our next trip and would recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver looking for a relaxing and convenient base. Five stars all the way, we had a wonderful time and left with nothing but great memories.
