The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The room was a decent size. The staff was friendly, check in was easy. The "lake view" room offered no real view of the lake, just the buildings across the street. Despite the breakfast room being available 730-930, it was not open on Sunday and we had to find breakfast elsewhere. The ice and vending machines were only available certain hours when the lobby wasn't locked up. There are constantly trains running on the tracks, day and night. Seems like one every 20 minutes.

We booked last minute for 2 nights. At first we thought everything was fine. Then early in the morning (6am) we heard what sounded like someone breaking into glass, which was unsettling. It was very obvious that there were drug addicts staying at the hotel and it was a little unnerving. However the beds were very comfy, didn’t love that pet fees are per night, it should just be one fee. I wouldn’t stay here again due to safety.

There's a railway 🚂 nearby the motel. Last time I was staying on the second floor. This time, I asked for the ground floor. Every 10 mins. There's a train passed through the town all night. LoL. Next time, I better stay on the second floor again. Maybe this was the winner low season time for the motel. The morning breakfast didn't prepare good for guests.
Anyway, this is the good place to stay for the Jehovah's Assembly that was in Onoway.

Staff courteous, but no lakeview as stated in ad. No continentsl breakfast provided as stated in ad. No ice bucket in room. No in room coffee. Very poor services for weary travellers. Choose to place my party with three dogs beside office created lots of barking as dogs heard door and all conversations at the desk.
Poor choice of placement of a party with dogs.
Awakened at 8:30 the next morning by an RCMP raid on room across from us.
Not a relaxing stay, poor amenities and multiple trains heard - so loud I could not converse on my phone when.outside.
