Yes it was all good to excellent
All staff was very helpful and friendly.
The location is beautiful and wish we had more time to spend enjoying the property and trails that surround.

Overpriced less than average experience!

WAY overpriced for a gorified motel. Owner clearly cannot take ANY criticism about anything!
Walks around talking to guests like she’s a bouncer!
AVOID THIS OVERPRICED AND WAY OVERRATED PLACE

Hi Chris and thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you left with this impression of your experience at our inn. During the wedding reception, our team did have to address outside alcohol being brought into a licensed area, as we are required to follow Ontario liquor licensing regulations. The bottle was removed at placed at the front desk for pick up following dinner.
The following morning at check-out, additional concerns were raised by yourself regarding our dining and banquet seating. When we respectfully explained that our Chiavari banquet chairs are commercial-grade seating designed specifically for event use and guest safety, the conversation became aggressive and included inappropriate language towards me.
While I welcome constructive feedback and always strive to improve our guest experience, I do expect interactions with myself and our team to remain respectful. I remain committed to providing a professional, safe, and enjoyable environment for all guests attending events and staying at the inn.

Delightful Visit / Warm Caring Staff

In the dead of a cold Canadian winter, we received the warmest of welcomes when we arrived! Our room was spacious, well appointed and overlooked a beautiful snowy forest as well as the Falls.
Our dinner and breakfast were delicious and beautifully presented, and our servers were friendly and helpful. In fact, all the staff we met, including the Innkeeper herself, were caring and attentive and displayed warm and engaging personalities. A rare find.
This hideaway Inn is well worth the visit for a quiet and restful escape with the added enjoyment of a very large, clean outdoor hot tub to use even on the coldest of days!
Though we didn’t hike, others also staying at the Inn mentioned to us about the easy accessibility to the Bruce Trail nearby.
My husband and I will absolutely return to this lovely Inn again!

Staff were welcoming and kind. Food was quite good. Deck off of room was very aged wood and had a lot of give underfoot - need to be replaced. Room was decent, but hot water could have been hotter.
