Johnny = True Cape Verdian Hospitality

Stayed here for a couple of nights and Johnny helped me with everything. He picked me up, showed me around with tips for dinner and places to see. He helped me getting tested and made sure he would offer a 5 star service. He told me a lot about the island, people and much more. Johnny - Abrigado

Stay of the worst, the reception not even talk and good!!

Poor stay, the apartment has nothing, until talheres failed for the 3 people who booked it!! Pure disillusionment nothing of windows to the sea, wrong information, but yes to garbage mount...the cleanliness is not desired nor sheets changed in 1 week we were there!

Lovely Place to Stay

Very spacious and clean apartment with bedroom and separate lounge/kitchen area in a quiet area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was very lucky to have an apartment with a balcony which had a sea view and from which I could also watch the sunset. There's a mini market a few minutes walk away and a larger supermarket ten minutes away in Praia Shopping. In addition, there are also a number of restaurants and cafes near to the apartment. The walk to Quebra Canela beach took me just over ten minutes. I loved the beach - it was pretty quiet on weekdays, busier on the weekends when local people come down for a swim, although, by no means overcrowded. Quebra Cabana is just above the beach - they do an excellent cup of coffee and have delicious food on offer as well. I'll definitely be staying at this apartment again.

A Pleasant Stay

I stayed in apt 104. It's a very spacious apartment and there is a view of the sea from the balcony. The kitchen is well equipped with a full sized stove, etc. The bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is rather small and shower cubicle is tiny. Almost impossible to move around without bashing my arms on the walls.
Praiano is in a quiet area, except for the street dogs that bark a lot. Earplugs recommended if your room faces the street. It's a 10 minute walk to Praia Shopping which has a supermarket with very reasonable prices. There are also a few fast food outlets and an outdoor bar where a pint of Strella is 200ESC or €2. It is a good 30minute walk into Plateau and the historic centre but only €2 by taxi. Maybe 20 minute walk to Prianha beach.
The hotel is extremely clean and very secure and the staff are very helpful and all speak English. Free wifi works very well. I have enjoyed my stay here.

Absolutely satisfied

Clean, confortable bed and quiet. Both the bedroom and salon has AC. The shower a little bit small, but okay. Comes with a free bottle of mineral water. Receptionist has good English skills and stuff is very helpful. Close to shopping center.
