Beautiful House

We stayed overnight on our way driving along the coast from Viña Del Mar to Colchagua Valley. The host is very gracious and accommodating and makes a great breakfast. The house is very nice and the bedroom was large, clean and beds very comfortable. The location is just outside of town with the beach only a few minutes away. Highly recommended.

Comfort, beauty and adventure at the right price.

Casa Redonda is located in the town of Rocas de San Martin, Chile. We arrived at 6 P.M. We called Loreto over the phone and she opened the gate for us. Loreto is a very elegant woman with a joyous voice and a very welcoming attitude. Three friendly dogs were there to welcome us also. It was dark already, we checked in and we were shown our room. It was beautiful. The room had everything we needed a queen size bed that was warmly made, a very comfortable short chair, plenty of space for our suitcases, a large closet, two big windows, a hughe bathroom with a very nice tub and hot water. The house is completely made of wood and and you can see and actually feel the love that was put in the making of it. As we opened the door of the room we could feel the perfect warmth awaiting us inside. Loreto made sure to ask if the temperatire in the room was right, and it actually was perfect. It was almost 40 degrees outside then, and it got down to 32 degrees over night, but our room was perrrfect. In the morning we woke up and came to the dinning room where we found the most perfect set up, with all we needed for a most delicious breakfast. There was fruit, freshly made bread, butter, chai tea, coffee, avocado, jam, home made apple pie, home made peanut butter cookies, and eggs made to order. Everything was local and just delicious. You can reserve directly with her. The prices are cheaper. There is plenty of space in the house for a large family, there is also a cabin outside that can house a large family. Just call her and explain your plans (reserving directly with her is more affordable find her +56 9 9223 2697, she is sure to accomodate. The house is located on an acre of land full of fruit trees. It is also very close to town, we put down our suitcases upon arrival and headed to one of the near by restaurants. Loreto gave us directions to 4 and we opted for the club house of a near by retirement community. The food was delicious, the location was beautiful, elegant, the service perfect, the food delicious and the wine... there is no bad wine in Chile. The wine was to die for. We left the round house the next morning right after breakfast fo see more of the surroundings and they did not disapoint. We even considered moving to Rocas de Santo Domingo. This place is very clean, well kept and the natural beauty tops it all off. We spent most of the morning walking on the beach. It was cold but so worth it. The round house is close to grocery stores and a small outdoor mall there are also a couple of gas stations and a few restaurants, all withing 5 minutes drive.

Amazing B&B

Loreto is the most gracious host ever. Spacious room, excellent cleanliness, very comfortable bed and an amazing breakfast with home made bread. The location is very close to the center of the village but positioned in a tranquil area that is perfect if relax and rest is needed.

A lovely home visit

This home-style B&B is located on the outskirts of Santo Domingo across the river from San Antonio. It is close to the highway just past the main entrances to Santo Domingo. We stayed there to see some of the wineries in the Casablanca Valley. Our Garmin GPS found the B&B without any problems.
Our two-night stay was delightful. The room was well appointed and the bath had been newly remodeled. Our breakfast was quite extensive and included home made jams, rolls, cakes, and breads. Loretta, the owner, is an accomplished cook and baker and enjoys preparing breakfasts for her guests.
There is a large party room for gatherings and celebrations.

Charming B&B , excellent hostess

This is a very hard review to write. The B&B in located in a rural area just outside San Domingo, not in San Antonio as stated in previous reviews. This is a large private home that rents out two very nice rooms with private baths. It is a location hard to find and really not well marked. The owner/hostess bends over backward to accommodate you. Her breakfasts are probably the most elegant, complete presentations I have ever I countered anywhere. She has a very large circular table that seats 10. The center of the table has a lazy Susan that holds the elegant breakfast.......quite dramatic to say the least.
We found this an excellent place to stay when visiting the Casablanca WineValley.
Down side: the owner was working on her website and Wi-Fi connections when we were there (Jan. 10-11, 2014) and hopefully it is up and running by now.
