amazing place with amazing people

The place is located on a perfect spot at only 5min walking from a bus station taking you either to Vicuña (15min) either to la Serena (40min). The hosts built the houses on a hill whereby you have an outstanding view on the stars at night (I really recommend checking their Instagram account), supposing that the sky is clear during your stay (Check before coming!)
There is a very relaxing quietness surrounding the house, considering you're in the middle of amazing grape fields, a beautiful lake, and impressive mountains.
You will be staying in very cozy and clean rooms which all have their own bathrooms, also very clean!
The hosts are a couple, very helpful, welcoming and who know everything about astronomy, so you can ask them anything and they'll be happy to talk about it with passion, especially during breakfast, which is cooked by the hostess while the host is talking with the guests, settling a very friendly atmosphere.
Their son also offers a professional nocturnal photography session under the stars for only 5000 CLP (I believe), allowing you to capture this amazing moment.
I really recommend this place, which is also very reasonable budget-wise! you won't regret it.
Bonus: they also have a fireplace under the stars with a griller for veggie barbecues and barbecues

Maravillosa experienci

Un lugar precioso para desconectarse del ruido y las preocupaciones del día a día. Una vista maravillosa al Valle, las estrellas en todo su esplendor de noche, el canto de los grillos y el correr del viento. Sin duda es un lugar dónde puedes descansar y serás muy bien atendido por Rafael y Gloria. Muy acogedor y buena conversación con los dueños. Imperdible la charla astronómica y la vista por el telescopio, en dónde pudimos contemplar el pasado (los astros). 100% recomendable en cuanto a precio y calidad, sin duda que volveremos.

La desconexión que buscas en el Valle

Fue una maravilla encontrar este alojamiento. Por una mala experiencia en un hotel de Vicuña tuvimos que buscar un nuevo alojamiento durante la noche, y así fue como llegamos a Casa Ollagua. Gloria y Rafael nos recibieron con gran cariño y preocupación. El alojamiento tiene una hermosa vista al Valle y un entorno muy tranquilo, todo lo que uno espera encontrar en el Valle. Es un excelente lugar para descansar y desconectarse.

Containers con bello emplazamiento, bajo costo y buena atención.

El lugar posee un hermoso emplazamiento y una bella vista al embalse Puclaro. Lo que se arrienda son containers, limpios, con baño privado y cómodos.
Poseen acceso a un comedor común bien equipado y amplio.
Lo mejor, la atención de los dueños con un desayuno increíble: productos de la zona, abundante, surtido y delicioso.
Lamentablemente fuimos en invierno, cuando la Temperatura desciende en exceso y el calefactor que poseen no permite un buen aislamiento. Pasamos frío.
En forma adicional, si bien se supone es un lugar para relajarse, alejado de vicuña, tenían un cachorro que ladraba en forma constante durante toda la noche y se siente el tránsito continuo de vehículos.

Lugar maravilloso para un descanso

Este lugar fue la mejor decisión de alojamiento, una vista hermosa, desayuno muy rico, el lugar equipado con todo pero lo más especial es la atención por parte de don Rafael, doña Gloria y Felipe, siempre atentos y amables, fue una bella estadía y muy acogedora, esperamos volver pronto.
