Very cozy and comfortable

I felt at home, the hostesses were very attentive. Good quality beds, hot water and a delicious breakfast. Central location steps from the center totally recommended. Strategic and very very quiet place, nice view from the second floor. Very beautiful place.

Great value for money!

I loved the hostel. The room is simple but the value for money is very good. It's very close to Caracoles and where the tours leave and drop off people at the end. Breakfast is simple but good! When the tour leaves very early, they give you the option of getting a snack to take with you.

No complaints...did what they promised.

A great 10 room hostel close to main area. The bed was comfortable and all the coat hangers and hooks were great. The included breakfast included juice, yoghurt, cereal, bread, meat and cheese, tea and coffee. Washing was available at a cheap rate. The staff, who spoke Spanish were helpful and friendly. I had a great stay at what is considered a reasonable price in this remote location and over Christmas. There is a basic kitchen, making it easy to self catering and the whole place was clean and pleasant. A few maintenance problems did not detract from a great stay in a lovely little hostel.

Basic but comfortable

Basic but comfortable bedroom in nice walled courtyard. Pretty quiet compared to rest of town. Rosita greeted us and sped up check in. She was attentive and very hard working, made the place feel homely. We communicated well despite limited English spoken by staff (and our woeful Spanish). Breakfast was good with fresh eggs.

Good

Hostal are very well located and the staff is very kind. Lidia, Solange and Javier always help when we need. The internet was not working very well even in the common areas, but nothing to worry about. The only thing I would've change is the reception: it is needed people there 24 hs, there was nobody when we arrived and we waited for 30 minutes until a guest open the door for us and let us wait inside. However, they are very kind and I would recommend it.
