Good hosting!

We stayed in 2 periods, in the first a good room, but the bathroom very small, moving in the box was complicated. Already in the second period, an excellent suite, with a satisfying bathroom. The first suite was in front, but despite being a busy region, the noise does not bother. A good place, very well located, close to the metro station, bus stops, commerce and bars, in addition to being next to the Patio Boa Vista. The people who work at the hostel are very attentive. Nice place, however, pay attention with the form of payment, because in Chilean pesos you pay a tax of 19%, weighing well.

Very bad experience.

Unfortunately, I have to write a bad review about this hostel. I booked a double room with bathroom via Booking. com back in May 2025. Checked in for two nights in reception but when I got to the room, the room did not look at all as nice as the pictures, it was dark, noisy and the bed sheets had not been cleaned. I decided not to stay, and checked out straight away, not staying there even for 1 night. I asked Guanako hostel and also Booking. com for a refund of at least 1 night that equals to 99US$. Guanako hostel only offered to give me back the money in cash (Chilean pesos) but I already had left the country and I was unable to pick up the money. I then requested several times Guanako Hostel and Booking. com to reimburse the money to my Credit Card as this was the method of purchase, however, I am still waiting (September 2025) for this refund. I would strongly recommend NOT staying in this hostel. Also, the hostel is not in a safe location.

Comfort and good location - rented private room with bathroom

A hostel for those looking for excellent location and price and want to do almost everything on foot. The hostel is very comfortable, the kitchen and coffee space excellent. I liked all the attendees. The manager Sebastian is very friendly, requested and very helpful with great tips. Me and my husband used the subway (baquedano station is on the side). I'd come back a thousand times. Super indico.
