Cute small hostel

This hostel is run by volunteers who are friendly and always hanging around (but were not as helpful as staff usually are at hostels in terms of maps or recommendations on things to do). The rooms are very small, but have all the amenities you need like chargers and lights on the bunks (plus a privacy curtain)! Breakfast is just bread with butter - nothing special. Everything was fairly clean and overall was a good stay!
It’s not in the touristy area of valparaiso but we didn’t mind the extra stairs and walking. The location wasn’t the best with the protests still happening as it was hard to go out at night and get back safely and without tear gas. Valpo is beautiful and hope the protesting calms down soon!

Small but cozy

I stayed at the hostel with a friend and our room was the smallest I've ever been to. However the beds were comfortable, though the room was very basic and the hostel offered loads of blankets to fight the cold. It offered a pretty view over the city but since it was a little further up on one of Valparaíso's hills you had to climb the stairs or take a lift to get there. The staff was friendly and they serve a basic breakfast. The atmosphere was very good. I think the other rooms are more spacious as well and even have a balcony but ours was like a matchbox. If you're only there to sleep I guess it's fine.

tourist trips to Valparaiso

The hostel is remembered primarily by the attitude of the staff – it's nice to communicate. Interesting interior design, everything is clean.
very friendly and attentive staff, homely atmosphere. The impression from residence-only positive.
If fate will again throw in Valparaiso – would gladly stay in this hostel

Nice, clean, new, just perfect!! GO!

Found this Hostel on Booking.com where comments and description were very good! And we were happy from the first moment! We were welcomed very warmly by the team. What was positive:
- very comfy beds, we slept like angels! The constructions of the beds are pretty practice oriented: own reading lamp, curtain in front of the bed to have something like your own kingdom ;-)! UtTwo powerplugs within the integrated little cupboard on the headside of the bed! - Additionally very good lockers in the room with keys!
- Very good wifi in the entire hostel area (also good signal from the bed :-)
- nice community and garden area
- nice view from the hostel and even better from the balcony of the 6bed dorm!
- kitchen very well equipped!
- AND: everything was VERY CLEAN!
- well situated in the city and you can directly start exploring from the hostel
- you feel that the people are experienced concerning travellers needs!
To reach the hostel you need to get upstairs from the main road which passes PlazaVictoria (palm trees).
After a view stairs you need to choose the left way (where a sign shows the little handcraft store) to get to the hostel (check location on maps me, we marked it correctly)!
We were very happy with this choice and can highly recommend it! Great job, go ahead and muchas gracias!!

Cheap & beautiful!

This hotel is perfect for a solo traveler or group of friends. Location is awesome, you just need to climb up the hill straight from the middle part of downtown. The vistas are spectacular and peole are so nice! Beds are small, but it has curtains, so you feel like at your own private room. Price is yummy! Perfect for a budget traveler!
