A very portly experience!

My partner had a great time. We went out to walk the whole Yugoslav walk, eat rich and share a champagne on the balcony of our room. We had a great time!

I was robbed and the hostel was not responsible

Hello, please take great care when staying at Maki Hostel. I stayed there, they robbed me and the hostel was not responsible, not even apologetic. Terrible.

I paid for 1 bed in a bedroom de 4, they put me in a bedroom of 8. They said my travel agency made the mistake, after checked it

Dirty shower, bad broken sinck to wash dished, dusty under beds, liar wrong bed, floors not same level, kitchen and bathroom not desinfected

Make yourself at home or in a beach hut

My experience was amazing, both at Makis Hostels and visiting Caleta Portales. At the hostel I felt at home, with a warm team, a delicious breakfast and a perfect location to move without problems. And on the cove, although not a beach to bathe on, the scenery and fresh seafood make up for everything: it was a place full of life, tradition and charm. I am left with the feeling of having enjoyed the best of each place, always surrounded by friendly people and with a very familiar Mood.

LOOK FOR ANOTHER OPTION!! THERE ARE MICE, BAD TOILET AND LOUSY ATTENTION

Unfortunately we were very excited to live the port experience and spend an unforgettable new year, but it was tarnished as when we were going to bed a MOUSE came out of bed and we spent hours trying to get our money back and ideally take care of the new accommodation we had to pay to change which doubled or tripled the value already paid in Maki for being a new year. Being 4.39 in the morning, sitting in the armchair of the cold reception, we still do not have the money back, the owner/manager refuses to talk to us because it is "in bad condition", tells the receptionist that if we want to leave and after insistence sent us an email indicating first the return would not be for the total and then that yes, but only the 2 more days. I mean, I have no decent accommodation, no money, with a child and two older adults and I can not even take a bus since at this time there is no and this lease had it 2 days

Lamentamos profundamente la experiencia que vivieron y la gran decepción que les causó. Entendemos perfectamente la frustración y el malestar de una situación tan inesperada, especialmente en una fecha tan significativa como Año Nuevo y con la presencia de un niño y adultos mayores.
Desde aquel desafortunado incidente, hemos realizado todos los controles necesarios y exhaustivas revisiones en nuestras instalaciones para garantizar la ausencia de plagas, y nos complace informar que no hemos tenido nuevas alertas ni incidentes de este tipo desde entonces. Queremos destacar que fue la primera vez en 8 años que experimentamos un problema así, y lo atribuimos al ruido y la actividad inusual en toda la ciudad durante la celebración de Año Nuevo. La tranquilidad y seguridad de nuestros huéspedes es nuestra máxima prioridad.
Respecto al reembolso, confirmamos que se realizó el 4 de febrero. Lamentamos sinceramente la situación generada y las complicaciones que tuvieron para conseguir un nuevo alojamiento. Entendemos que no haber obtenido una solución inmediata en ese momento tan crítico empeoró aún más la experiencia.
Esperamos que, a pesar de este incidente tan desagradable, puedan considerar nuestra disposición a mejorar y la efectividad de las medidas tomadas. Nos disculpamos nuevamente por todos los inconvenientes que esto les causó.
