A modern past

Old mansion transformed into a hotel overlooking the port of Valpo in which you feel nostalgia for the great era of this incredible city with all modern comforts and a spa to recharge your batteries

Amazing Boutique Hotel

There appears to be a growing trend nowadays, for hotels to call themselves 'Boutique', when they are far from it. This is certainly not the case here. There is a classiness to the hotel, from the moment you enter; it's like objects have been carefully placed around the hotel, asking to be photographed. But it's not all show. There is a delightful balcony and relaxed seating areas. The room itself is clean and modern, and has good facilities. If I was being picky, there was no charging point next to the bed, but not a game-changer.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and reception monitor people coming into the grounds, with a locked/monitored front gate.
There was a great selection at breakfast (including a great choice of tea!), and whilst the restaurant wasn't open in the evening, we enjoyed, possibly the best Italian meal that we've had anywhere in the world, for lunch. And again, the restaurant itself was beautiful and photogenic.

Property was well maintained and location perfect for walking tours around the neighborhood to see street art. Breakfast spread was the best so far in our trip to Chile. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Right in the heart of all the street art and within walking distance of shops, restaurants and harbor. Great view from room.

An outstanding hotel. The only one to stay in when in Valparaiso. Hotel is charming as it’s in a palace. It’s been beautifully retrofitted to meet travelers’ expectations. We had a very generously proportioned room with a charming view of the city. The spa, especially the Japanese-style hot tub was a very welcome treat after climbing the many city staircases!
The breakfasts were outstanding with a great choice of offerings including eggs, bacon, cereals , homemade jams, jellies, breads, croissants—the works!
Extremely pleasant terrace for afternoon relaxation or sunset drinks. The staff was one of the most charming we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. They recommended restaurants and found us an excellent car service for our trip to Santiago. They sought to make our stay outstanding and they succeeded.
