The lady was very patient, friendly and helpful. The location was Ideal, close to the main ticket entrance, with restaurants below, and a perfect view over the whole town and the Wall. Lovely huge bed, spacious room with balcony. The view can not be described with a picture.
A good value for money stay, I will return.
Check in was confusing and the contact address could be made more clear. Thankfully some strangers helped and the phone number contact can speak some English. The map is accurate, but the location seemed confusing. A photo might be helpful?

It was really nice. Convenient location, amenities and service was quick and fast but they gave my room away when I arrived and claimed to have "upgraded" my room but it was a downgrade and not the room I paid for. When I pointed this out they said to cancel the reservation and go somewhere else, it was 9pm at night and they wanted to throw me out on the street if I didn't like it. The staff said that someone from the website was going to call me but they never did. Doubt they actually made any effort to contact. Thankfully I contacted Trip.com and they were amazing trying to fix the situation. The staff made absolutely no effort, everything was fixed by trip.com. The dishes were dirty and dusty, had to wash them myself when I arrived. Not very knowledgeable about the area either, I waited over an hour for a bus that never arrived, this was a bus I was directed by the staff to take at 730am. They state 24 hour reception service but this is not true: Their working hours are 8-10. Also, the address is not actually where the hotel is located, wandered around for at least 30 minutes before a kind woman called the hotel for me and they had to come pick me up and take me up the mountain for 10 minutes. During their working hours the responses from the hotel staff are very fast though.

However, the room didn’t quite match the photos provided, the stay was decent overall. The heating system wasn’t functioning properly, leaving the room at a chilly 11 degrees. Thankfully, a small portable heater was available, which provided some warmth. The accommodation was a bit difficult to locate, but the owner was very responsive and helpful, making communication easy.

Great location and wonderful staff.
Everything is at walking distance. We couldn’t ask for a better location. From the balcony we were also able to see the Great Wall, and at nights is amazing to see it with the lights on. The room was spacious, with tv and a mini fridge. The area felt very secure, and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. However, the best part were the amazing staff. They were so helpful, provided information, directions, tips, and they were so kind to offer also a lift at the end of our staying. Top notch place! Highly recommended!
