Part of a tour! 3 nights stayed here

Myself and my now husband booked our honeymoon through China Links Travel. We stayed three nights in this hotel before moving on to xi'an. The hotel was amazing and very clean! Due to being on a tour with Chinese/English speaking guides we never had to check in so cant really tell you about the staff. We only had breakfast in the hotel as all other food we had outside on the way to/from sightseeing but the breakfast did cater for westerners i.e toast, fried eggs etc outside the hotel i can only tell you that across the road was a supermarket. Let me just say that Beijing is a very big place and even tho your hotel is smack bang in the middle of Beijing its still a far bit to go to any bars/restaurants.

Average Centrally located Hotel

The hotel is located near some historic places of Beijing and shopping malls on main road. We were give a twin room. The bathroom floor was dirty and needed to be properly cleaned.
The cooling system was in the outer room and not in the bedroom so we had to supper some period of warm room. Internet was getting disconnected offten.

Not Bad, but Nothing Special

Stayed here for a couple nights while in Beijing. Location was good, room was clean and the breakfast had plenty of options. Though I found the beds to be a little hard, but that's personal preference. Overall, hotel was fine, nothing negative and nothing particularly impressive.

We stayed four nights in this hotel in April 2015. The only good thing for this hotel is good location. Other than this nothing else is satisfactory and it is not up to the standards of a four star hotel. Rooms are not very clean, breakfast is always the same and the food is not very tasty. The air conditioner was not working and the stuff does not understand or speak English so it is not very helpful.

Unexpected

Having read some reviews on here I was expecting the worst. However I was impressed when it was clean and tidy. Our first room didn't have a lot of water pressure but returning for our next stay 4 days later we had a room change & had a better one. So it's obviously hit & miss with those little things. Bar was good, only place we had ice in our drinks, and the beer was cool. Conveniently located, close to shops and you can get water etc from the store downstairs for next to nothing.
