The hotel was situated right next to the Fragrant Hill park, and not too far a walk to the National Botanical Gardens. The room was clean and large. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were amazing and knowledgeable about the area as well as helping us get from the hotel to the airport on time. Lots of restaurants in the area to choose from. I wouldn't recommend the hotel's restaurant as it was overpriced and underwhelming. There are much better options outside of the hotel.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The location was very good. Easy access to the metro and for site-seeing. Overall, good experience.

Excellent hotel. with great public area and rooms. beautiful green surroundings in West Beijing. huge halls. spacious rooms and balcony.

Where is the international business experience?

Someone assigned me to this hotel during a conference. What really impressed me was the absence of staff who could communicate in basic English. The staff used translator apps on the phone, and that was minimally acceptable. Many times it was impossible to communicate about a need because of language and cultural barriers.
China has modernized. China teaches English to its many people. Why can't some minimal training be given to staff that will be in contact with international guests? It is a basic business practice.
The rooms were clean, though getting old and ours housed smokers before (we could smell...). The grounds and building staff were courteous. The front desk people communicated well with our Chinese host but were lost if we tried to convey anything. Well, at least they found two adapters for our phones.
The restaurant offered plenty of food in buffet style, including breakfasts, and also dinners where we ordered through difficult communication using phone translation to convey vegetarianism.
We walked to the Fragant Hills Park after our conference and bought souvenirs at small stores along the way. The location of this conference hotel is perfect for this.
