Staffs are welcoming and helpful. Location is good.
Check-in process quite complicated as upon arrival, you need to set aside about half an hour to go to the police station for registration, which is a hassle.
Cleanliness, unfortunately, is not very good. Under the bed, sofa and in the toilet area, it was quite dusty and dirty, especially around the washing machine. The sofa and carpet also had some stains on it. Room cleaning is by request.
Room set up is totally different from the booking site photos. Staff said they have many designs (what is showing is somehow the most pleasant one). In reality the room is very old/ run-down and needs renovation. The wallpaper is peeling off in several areas. The bathroom is somewhat worn and unpleasant.
The only thing I love is the pillows & mattress, it’s quite comfortable. Choose this place if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep comfortably. We slept really well. However, if you prefer a relaxing and hassle free stay, this might not be suitable for you.
* BTW I recommend nearby 南城香—the food is good and reasonably priced.

Two words: bed bugs.
I discovered bed bugs in one of the beds after waking up in the middle of the night covered in bites. Fortunately, the sofa was made of leather with no exposed fabric, holes, or wooden crevices, so I was able to sleep there for the rest of the night.
The room clearly needs a much more thorough inspection before being made available to guests.
To the staff’s credit, they moved us to a different room the following day after I raised the issue, and we did not encounter any further problems there.
If you’re planning to stay, I would strongly recommend checking under and around the bed before settling in for the night Or avoid this place (:

The apartment is comfortable, quiet, and easy to get to. It smells of smoke when I turn on the air conditioning, so we kept the windows open. The cleaners often skipped the daily cleaning, but the manager was always available 24/7 and responded to my every need promptly. He recommended breakfast options and helped us organize. He explained everything perfectly and was always kind. This is a huge plus, and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Beijing.
