Comfortable

Once a grand hotel, now a little dated, but still very comfortable. No sign of a rat or cockroach. I suspect those assessments are wrong. The hotel was very clean. large room and bathroom, comfortable large bed.

A little old and tired hotel

Location is fine, it is a large hotel, reception does not speak English.
Breakfast is actually very fine and with many options - including omelettes.
Rooms are a bit old and "tired" - and so are the bathrooms.
WiFi is poor in speed.

Great breakfast and gym available

The hotel is strongly dated but clean with great breakffast. If you want to use their gym at 2nd floor, you may need to ask the reception to open it for you. Equipment is good enough to make full body exercises. All but not abs. You may feel discomfort due to the old residue of old cigarette smoke in the room.

Very good two-day hotel stay with a German tour group

The hotel was centrally located, with links to public transport. The hotel was equipped with a Chinese opera. The room was very clean and quiet. When you opened the small window (there was a large window front), the traffic noise was not loud. The room was extensively equipped (cosmetics, shower gel, shampoo, tea bags, Nescafé). The hotel was more traditional than modern, the furniture and corridors as well as the lobby and breakfast room were distinctly Chinese and very nice. The beautiful Chinese opera costs only about 7 €, 1.5 l of water was available for 1.25 €. This was professional, but a bit awkward in a situation with room access. I felt very comfortable there. The opera told a traditional Chinese story, with subtitles in English and Chinese.

Overall great experience, breakfast were good with variety of foods, housekeeping were efficient and fast, hotel staffs were polite and friendly.
