Worst experience

Staff unpleasant. Rooms in bad condition. I had to cancel the booking and go to another hotel in the area. I do not recommend this hotel to families, to non smokers, and to travelers with children. Disappointed.

Spacious with Great Location but not Luxury

For about $30 a night I got a suite. The hallways look luxury and the carpets seems to be new. The facility looks clean. The rooms looks a bit dated but it is very spacious.
The suite has a living room with 3 coaches and nice looking furniture. The living room also has a guest restroom.
The bedroom has a love seat and a king bed. It has a PC monitor and a TV that we were not sure how to use. The master bathroom looks clean but the shower needs some update. The water will leak and make the entire floor wet. The towels look clean but were wore out. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub.
The suite is a smoker's suite and it has a strong cigarette smell. It is also odd to see condoms for purchase placed in the nightstand. The A/C needs to be checked since regardless of setting, it stays at 26 C.
Overall, I had a good rest and the room was spacious and fairly clean but is not a 5 star luxury hotel. I will say it is more like a 3.5 star hotel.

Perfect location and great restaurant

I love this place!. Have stayed here several times and really enjoy the friendliness of the staff at the hotel and the restaurant.
very clean, very close to pedestrian street and all the shops. great for walking anywhere really.
Good price and I always negotiate with the manager to get a better price.
Clean rooms. cleaned regularly, anything you want you just ask and you get.
Will go back again next year.

RECOMMENDED

- Excellent location. Walking distance to pedestrian mall
and commercial district.
- Fast wifi connections in the room.
- Good service. Hotel staff are eager to help.
- Room is reasonably clean and tidy.
- Bed is comfortable. Slept well.
- Easy to flag a taxi at Wuyi Avenue.
Opportunity for improvement: Environment and Quality of food & drinks at breakfast buffet can be better. For example, fruit juice are diluted with water and sweetened with sugar. Dining room is not well ventilated and looks run down. Chefs with dirty aprons.
