The hotel is in traditional style, the location fantastic, on the famous Qintai Lu, close to Metro station and park. The staff was very helpful and friendly, in particular Frank and Bella. Breakfast was more than adeguate. Would gladly stay again.

Prime location and close to the subway. Kuanzhai alleys in walking distance and the People’s Park one stop away. Frank at reception I was very helpful with advice and booking taxis. A good compromise if you’re going to Tibet from the West Railway Station.

This hotel is amazing! Frank met us the day we arrived and upgraded us to a family room for better comfort and views. He helped me deal with a booking issue for a tour and gave us great advice on where to spend our free time. He even sent fruit to the room on our arrival. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was great (the heated toilet seat was the best toilet I've ever used lol). The building is a very traditional old style Chinese building set amongst many other similar buildings. The restaurant has great food at great prices, too. There were markets directly across the street. The opera was a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The best hot pot street was 5 minutes walk. And the hutongs (? Traditional street markets) were only a 10 minute, leisurely walk away. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone and would like to thank Frank for his amazing, above and beyond service.
