One of the best executive lounge experience
- My absolute highlight is the executive lounge experience during my stay. The Duty manager Tracy and her team provided a perfect service for the guests in the executive lounge. The view from the terrace of the lake and mountains behind was stunning. I had a chance to talk with Tracy about my previous accommodation experience from all Hilton around the world and encouraged her to build up the Hilton spirit by learning highlights from other Hilton locations. She was so grateful to exchange her personal view with me. I truly appreciate it her personal ability and commit commitment to the Hilton brand.
- The first day at the breakfast buffet was okay but on the second day I experienced the great atmosphere and personal commitment. The restaurant manager Frank asked my wishes and served me in person. He was also involved in breakfast activities by cleaning the table and serving coffees and drinks.
- I love the location of this hotel, between the famous lake in front and National Park behind. The air is so fresh and it’s very quiet during the night. I had a fantastic view from my terrace outside.
I would strongly recommend to collect your great experience at this wonderful hotel when you are travelling in Dali next time.

kitchenette!
however, in kitchen, there is no refrigerator and no tea or coffee pots! but in the bedroom there is a very small cooler with warm temperature!! the room has a side view of some water!!! the hotel is located inside a condominium zone, you heard lots of local condo resident noisy!! the hotel is like maze! they have two buildings - and the restaurants and breakfast zone were in the building 1 - below the lobby!! the signs of directions to go to restaurants were poor!! with tremendous difficulty to return to the room in building 2! in our own hotel suite, to go to bedroom from living room needs go thru the closet first!! it is low class from Marriott with high room cost!! not recommended!!

Dali-mazing!
Nestled on the elevated grounds of Dali, overlooking the serene Erhai Lake, this hotel appears to be nestled within a residential complex. However, it offers convenient access for both in-and-out, and a short 20-minute drive takes you to the historic Dali Ancient City.
The lobby and the entire hotel are enormous. The room was spacious and had a unique touch of Yunnan architecture. It offered a serene view of a garden and a distant lake.
The breakfast was an absolute delight, with an extensive menu and, of course, bacon!
The staff was kind and made an effort to communicate with you.
Their makeup service begins around 9 AM, so please be aware if you wake up later than that. (It’s best to wear your DND sign, and they’ll leave a small note under your door.)
