Relaxing, peaceful place to stay.

Being near the a southern gate to the Old Town it was the perfect starting point to explore. The room is nicely appointed and a nice space to unwind after a day of exploring the region. Breakfast was included in our package, although not extensive, there were plenty of options and it was certainly adequate. Really comfortable bed and very quiet. Would stay again.

Weekend Stay in Dali

Taking a short summer break and decided to go Dali for the weekend.
We chosen this hotel coz we saw it the last Dec when we are in Dali, though it would be nice to stay there.
The location of the hotel is great if you activities and going to Eat in the Old Town. Then this is a good place for you.
The room went got was level 2 , 1 double bed . My view from the room ?? Tree top branches ! technically No view. so if you closed the curtain the room is in darkness
Bath room is also basic, just shower that's all. No bath tub
Not really what i would expect for the price i pay for .

Nice, luxurious & comfortable place

My wife and I are 2 int’l teachers who were stuck traveling in China for the '21 summer and we stayed here 2 nights. The previous reviewer is correct - they don't get a lot of foreigners. The breakfast was all right; mostly local options and fried eggs. But the rooms was impressive and clean. We were in 2nd floor and my wife enjoy the very comfortable bed and strong water pressure. The bath tub was HUGE that we didn’t use. And the area around the hotel was quiet at night, couldn’t hear any of the booming bars. Enjoyable 2 nights!

Great Location - Terrible Service

If you are looking for a great location in Dali Old Town, this is your place. The room itself is very nice with a great water pressure in the shower and a comfortable bed.
BUT, if your looking for a minimal level of service, look elsewhere. The service was horrible. I thought the horrible breakfast was because they are cutting expenses because of COVID-19, but then I read on Trip Advisor this was normal. The previous review about the breakfast continues to be true. It’s really just noodles and a small plate of random items, none of which look appetizing. We used their same day laundry service which turned into 2-day laundry service and a bunch of excuses. And then the check-out experience was the worst of the worst. Apparently they do not get a lot of international travelers because trying to do a simple credit card transaction took 30 minutes and additional phone calls with our travel guide on the road as we went to Lijiang to finally cancel our deposit. We were never able to charge our laundry service on the credit card.
We loved Dali and plan on coming back, but will never return to this hotel.

Modern resort on the edge of Dali ancient town.

The resort is designed like a modern Chinese village with a lane with rooms leading off the lane. The rooms are spacious with its own private small terrace for guests to sit and enjoy the fresh air. Bathrooms are modern with a freestanding tub and separate shower stall. Breakfast is served in a dining pavilion and there is a small selection of Chinese and Western food that is sufficient. The hotel is just on the edge of the old city walls and it is short walk to the heart of the ancient town that is delightful to wander around.
