院子在离石窟几公里的村里，典型的农家院子，经过一段土路进大门，有个喷水池的院子，客房是二层的，沿山势而建，一层在下面。房间设施较 新，比较齐全，有空调，据说还有地暖。卫生条件较好，电视、WIFI信号正常。周围环境较偏僻、荒野。

酒店离景区直线距离1.5公里但驾车需行驶6公里多，真正的农家小院，环境十分好，有花有水有鱼，房前屋后有各种疏菜，田园气息浓厚。有自己的食堂，点餐方便，价格公道。房间很大，设施和用品齐全，是一家性价比高的民宿，特别适合自驾的朋友入住。

到达云冈客运站后打车至刘家小院，当司机转进土路时，我们的心都咯噔一下，没想到下车后，让我们发现了小院的别有洞天，进院便看到小院池中的荷花含苞待放，第二天便展开笑颜。酒店位置离云冈石窟步行1公里多，房间面积大，里面还配有饮水机，很棒！小院有自己的食堂，价位合理，我们两天基本都在食堂用餐。食堂较忙，建议提前预约菜品。五分主要是给老板免费接送的，非常感谢，让我们有了充足的时间去游览云冈石窟。友情提示：卫生间没有干湿分区，千万不要穿一次性拖鞋进入。

出行遇到的小惊喜。离云冈石窟很近，可以把车开到景区附近步行进入景区。小院里鸟语花香，非常舒服。小院有个餐厅，价格平价，老板自己家人做的家常菜。

小院很不错，离云冈石窟很近，停车也方便。房间挺干净，饭菜味道不错，后院有块草地看夕阳西下，
