China Hospitality at Its Best
We booked three rooms for our family, and what can I say, choosing Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich was genuinely one of the best decisions I made for our Guangzhou trip.
The service was impeccable from beginning to end. The team consistently went the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable, and you could really feel the warmth and sincerity in their hospitality.
A very special mention to Alisa, Yuliya, Doris, Yuki, Evan and Rocco and of course, the entire team working alongside them. The fact that I can still remember so many of their names says something!
Everyone we encountered was kind, attentive, polite and genuinely helpful.
If you want to experience what excellent hospitality in China looks like, this is the yardstick, guys. The standard of service here was truly impressive.
Breakfast was another highlight. There was a fantastic spread with plenty of variety, but more importantly, the quality of the food was consistently good. You could see the attention given not only to the selection, but also to the preparation and presentation.
The location in Tianhe is strategic and convenient, while our rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable especially important when travelling together as a family.
One recommendation I would make is for the hotel to consider having more accessible / wheelchair-friendly guest rooms and facilities, which would make the experience even better for elderly guests and guests with mobility needs.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and left with such a positive impression of both the hotel and its people. I would highly recommend Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in Tianhe, Guangzhou.

Excellent service
Close to the main road of Guangzhou Avenue, go to Guangzhou South Railway Station for half an hour on expressway directly, also four kilometers from Yuexiu Park and Zhongshan Memorial Hall, taxi starting price is more than a point to arrive, there are also zoos and oceanarium around, thank Niki for booking me a special bus to the airport

A very decent hotel
If Guangzhou, Sofitel:-)
Excellent hotel, best value for money. Very varied breakfast, eating anything. Upper floors have chic city views. Metro's a long way off, but DiDi is always there to help. The hotel is not new, but certainly holds its own brand. The staff are polite and always available to help. A special thanks goes to Julia- Client Services Manager. She's polite, very attentive to details, helped us a lot with any questions, thanks

Amazing Club Millesime Staff and Food
Due to our platinum status. Book a premium deluxe room and get a free upgrade to a junior suite, free executive lounge, free breakfast, and free late checkout. This hotel offers the best service compared to other Accor hotels. At check-in, we requested a late checkout at 4:00 PM because our flight was at 12:15 AM and approved.
The room is spacious; although it's called a junior suite, it's more like an executive suite because the living room is spacious and there's a partition between the living room and the bedroom. The living room has a sofa, a work desk with a comfortable chair, plenty of power outlets for charging, and a minibar with all the amenities. There's an open wardrobe with direct access to the bathroom. The bedroom only has a bed and an armchair with an ottoman for relaxing. The view is quite nice, with a river view overlooking the city. The interior does have a French touch, evident in the picture behind the bed and its frame. The red accents add a pop of color.
The bathroom features a bathtub, closet, double vanity, and shower. The shower head is a bit narrow and doesn't go deep enough, so when you shower, it spills onto the dry bathroom floor. The closet has natural lighting from the frosted glass exterior, but it can sometimes be too warm during the day. The bathtub fills quickly, and the double vanity is also very helpful for those of us who brought baby gear that needed washing.
Facilities include an indoor pool, gym, spa, sauna, steam room, and executive lounge.
The executive lounge is open from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. You can choose from an a la carte breakfast in the lounge or the restaurant. Afternoon tea is available from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and evening cocktails from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Afternoon tea offers a wide selection of options, including four savory snacks, six sweet snacks, sweet soup, juice, dim sum, spring rolls and nuggets, snacks, and fruit. The evening cocktail menu includes a variety of alcoholic beverages, fruit, cold cuts, cheese, sushi, salad, spring rolls, onion rings, various vegetables, potatoes, pasta, satay-seasoned chicken, and red soup. The executive lounge was very satisfying, both in terms of the variety of food, ingredients, and taste.
The restaurant is large and has plenty of seating. The food selection is extensive, but the taste can be improved. Menu:
1. Pastries, bread, pancakes, muffins, honey, bread butter pudding, pork puffs, donuts
2. Juice, fruit, fish ball curry, eggplant, various vegetables, fried rice, porridge, cakue, tahok
3. Spring rolls, sausage, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, veggie butter, potatoes, beans, corn
4. Okra, congee, egg station, dim sum, noodle station, cheese, cold cuts
5. Salad, yogurt, cereal, kimchi, soba soup
