A lovely place for artists, architechture-enthusiasts and peace-lovers.

This is a wonderful brainchild of two architecture graduates who have built this picturesque landscape in the middle of a busy town. When space is a big constraint in Guangzhou, these people tried to redefine and re-create space. In the Post Modern Era, where dazzling lights and sophisticated looks define what is trendy, these people with simple setup has created a posh outlook towards living. The rooms are so aesthetically designed with modular aspects to economise the space. Very pretty lighting, a great ventilation and especially the huge room on the top floor is amazing for a couple of people who want to experience this luxurious simplicity.
The receptionists are amazing and they welcome you with a smile. All the amenities are provided, with a small washing machine inside the room, to a large one outside with a drying machine. WIFI and TV and everything else is readily available. So fully furnished place. I really wouldn't call this a hostel, but a hotel. A very beautiful one.
Located in the prime locality, everything is pretty accessible. Moreover the staff are too courteous and can give you an oral tour of the city, nearest restaurants etc., when asked.
The most beautiful part is the amount of antique items in the apartment. Every room has either some antique cameras, or some old ceramic display that reminds us the history of china dating back to antiquity. So a classical historical legacy clothed in modernity. If you are really lucky enough, you may run into the couple whose brainchild this place is. Both husband and wife devoted to their passion will take you through a tour of the ancient china with interesting anecdotes about the antique objects around. They are really lovely couple who were very nice to a total stranger like me from India, who visited China for the first time and guided me patiently all through.
I stayed there for five days and those are the best days I spent in Guangzhou. I strongly recommend this to anyone who wish to explore and live through the culture of China.
Some people constrain space to create living space, and some people create space. These people belong to the latter.

Cool spot

I spent two nights at TG studio. The rooms are very nice designed and they provide all the necessary, including a small washing machine with detergents. As soon as you book you are provided with the codes for entering the main door and your room. The girl at the reception is very nice and speaks English which is not so common on Guangzhou. There is also a kitchen for guests. Prices are fair and everything is clean.

It was ok.

When we went to check in no one was around, the manager was still in bed. The place was very clean with good facilities however the beds were unusual and very hard. They supplied water and toiletries. The staff were nice and it was a good location for us. In their advertising it said they took Visa, MasterCard etc but they refused and we had to pay cash. It was dirty outside with leaves and rubbish at the entrance.
