One night was more than enough

We stayed at the Wing Hotel in Guilin for one night before our cruise on the Li River, and one night was definitely enough. Unfortunately, the photos online are quite misleading: the entire building and the rooms are visibly run down and in need of maintenance. Our room was not clean, with stains, dust and hair throughout. There was also no usable USB port or power socket for charging our devices—not even our multifunction adapter could help. The reception staff were unable to speak English, which made communication difficult, they only handed us a paper with some info, but more disappointing was their attitude. They were rather rude and showed little interest in welcoming or assisting guests. Considering the condition of the hotel and the poor service, I would not choose to stay here again.

The hotel located right beside the river, clean and convenient. But it’s a little bit noisy, people played music and danced along the riverside.

Good hotel, but all the credits go to Jenny

There are 2 or 3 Wing hotels in Guilin. We chose this one in the very center - in the middle of pedestrian area.
Hotel is in excellent location - walking distance to all major sights, comfortable rooms and kind staff. Breakfast was very disappointing and should be improved - the only reason I deduct one star.
What made our stay very enjoyable was Jenny - an agent working for the Wing hotels. As soon as we booked the hotel she sent me an info mail with tours she organizes.
We had great communication via Whatsapp and Wechat and she arranged everything for us: railway pickup transfer, 2 rivers and 4 lakes cruise, Li river cruise, visiting Ruyi peak and drop off at Yangshuo station, even a restaurant for my daughter's birthday.
Everything went flawlessly and best of all price was the same as we booked ourselves, however with her that was done without any hassle. I strongly recommend Jenny's services for a hassle free vacation in Guilin and surroundings, and I use this opportunity to honestly thank her for her kindness and organization.

Nice value for well situated property. Laundry facilities available (free). Dryers were a bit slow to dry but there were 2washers and 2 dryers and we were able to wash 2 loads of clothes without having to wait. Good location. Very walkable to all Guilin highlights. We booked a couple of tours through the hotel and they were fun and convenient.
