Steps from Yulong River, Yangshuo Secret Garden is located in the stunning Yangshuo countryside. The hotel consists of Qing Dynasty buildings that have been beautifully restored to preserve the historic character.

The hotel is beautiful and honestly extremely clean for the environment that it's in. Compared to some hotels in the main city, this one had no insects at all in the room.
We got a family room for 3 people, and the room's size was more than enough with 2 different "eras" for the double bed and the single bed.
For breakfast, you have the choice between a traditional Chinese breakfast (such as rice noodles) and a western breakfast (eggs, salad,...). Both of them were really good. And if you have an allergy or can't eat a certain food, you can just ask them to adapt to you, and they will!
You can also eat in the hotel's restaurant for dinner, the food is just as good.
The location was perfect. I knew that it was kinda far away from the city, but that's exactly why I chose it. From only being 25min away from the main city, you can have the prettiest view ever. It's also not even 10min away from the bamboo rafting, so it's perfect either way. And if you're worried about the taxi, you can just call a DiDi and it'll usually be here in less than 10min, so you don't have to worry about that.
And finally the staff. They almost all speak English, so communicating with them was really easy. They are also really nice and are ready to help you whenever you need something.
So, in a few words, I highly recommend this hotel. You won't be deceived.

Rusticity with modern comfort
Hotel of 18 rooms on two levels (we were on the first) on the same old houses typical of the area. There have been many efforts to restore the site both indoors and outdoors. It is a rustic hotel with modern comforts including air conditioning and a locker. The place is quiet, but more than 30 minutes drive from the Li River Cruise Landing in Yangshuo.
Simple, but complete western type PD. Diversified à la carte menu at affordable prices in the evening.
Bicycles are available to access the Li River, but the views add nothing if you took the Guilin cruise; I suggest you take advantage of the hotel to rest there between visits.

Fantastic hotel near the Yulong River
Rooms are large and tastefully decorated. Bed (for me) a little too hard. They even came up with a solution to make it comfortable for me. In one word super. Definitely book if you go this way.
In the small village is also a cozy coffee bar with delicious cakes and a cozy outdoor terrace.
