Hilton with CNN!
The hotel is located in a business district, a bit removed from downtown and major attractions like Qianling Mountain Park (黔灵山公园), but getting around is easy and affordable via Didi. There’s a Walmart about a 6-minute walk away, along with several spas and restaurants nearby.
Check-in with Karina was smooth, and we were upgraded thanks to our Diamond status. She was very responsive on WeChat and even helped order medicine for my husband, which we really appreciated. The room was comfortable—though not the largest, it was perfectly adequate. The pool was impressive, but the jacuzzi wasn’t very hot, and the atmosphere was less relaxing due to children playing noisily without staff intervention.
The executive lounge was a highlight and a drawback. Service was excellent—Zora, Danika, and Lucy were all warm, attentive, and helpful. However, the lounge was extremely crowded, because Gold members also have access. It felt chaotic, with children running and shouting, which detracted from the usual quiet lounge experience.
In my humble opinion, they are definitely short staffed due to the large number of guests. We never saw more than 3 tables of guests in any other lounges globally but this one over 10 tables. Breakfast was also packed and they got good variety of both Western & Eastern options.
Food options were varied, including sushi (unexpected for an inland city), though the quality was average—the rice was a bit mushy and overly generous compared to the fish.
Overall, a comfortable stay with standout service from the lounge team. Just be prepared for a very busy executive lounge. Laurie also made a great impression—her strong English and willingness to share insights about life in China added a nice personal touch.

Impeccable Facilities and Exceptional Elite Recognition
The hotel’s scale and in-room facilities are impeccable.
The breakfast offers a wide variety of options with consistently high quality. The afternoon tea and happy hour at the executive lounge are also well worth experiencing. Notably, the sushi served during happy hour is among the most authentic Japanese-style offerings within the Hilton group, both in terms of rice quality and ingredient selection.
The hotel demonstrates genuine recognition of elite member benefits by offering suite upgrades. It is highly recommended for travelers and those on leisure trips—especially elite members, who will truly feel a warm, home-like experience during their stay.

Hotel for business
A newish and large hotel built around 2020. We had 2 large functions here
Met by the GM Frank during check-in, which was a nice touch
The suite is nice and large, no major issues
The function rooms and service are good. AV and IT facilities met our expectations
The gym medium sized and has windows
The sauna disappointing due to the cigarette smell
Good chinese restaurant on the premise. Breakfast restaurant also good, lots of variety and choices

My best accommodation experience in Hilton China
Highlights
- I arrived at the hotel very early around midday and my room was not ready yet. The assistant front office manager Laurie was so kind to handle my luggage and accompanied me to the executive lounge for some rest and coffee.
- The team from executive lounge was amazing. The team leader Zora and her team member Lucy were very professional and hospitable , especially Zora told me a lot about the city and all the sightseeings.
- Another highlight is my upgraded one suite bedroom with spectacular view of the surrounding areas at 18th floor. The suite was so spacious and clean. I was so touched by the special present prepared by the housekeeping to welcome me as a hotel guest.
- The happy hour in the executive lounge was brilliant there were so many choices and all of them were very tasty.
- The breakfast experience is unique due to the separated area for the Hilton Honors guests. There is even a live cooking station in this area and the service was perfect.

Best experience
The hotel offered one-of-a-kind experience during my stay there. Not to mention the staff were super helpful and professional. Thanks for making my stay so enjoyable and wonderful. The checkin and checkout process were quick and easy. Highly recommended this hotel for those planning to go to Guiyang.
