Luxury stay with polite, attentive and courteous Reception staffs. Nice fragrant Chinese tea welcome drinks in dainty tea cups. Hotel has very nice fragrant smell all over... Even our spacious room. Washing machine in the bathroom as well! Quiet and very clean hotel and room, away from bustling and noisy surroundings and pungent smells. 300m walking distance from Raffles City Shopping mall and Convention centre/theatre (dome ship-like building). Walking distance to outlet mall. Nice restaurants about 100m away by the riverside too! Can see partial buildings light up in the night. Can't view river display as our room facing have a few tall glass buildings blocking our position.

Excellent location. Right across the street from a metro line and two major malls + a separate outlet mall for convenience. Room was exceptionally clean and furniture was all in great condition. The thing that brings down this hotel's rating is the lack of proper air conditioning in the room (it exists, but did not work the first night. We notified the front desk and they 'fixed' it, at which point the room's air conditioning stopped working again in the middle of the night, leading to a 28 degree C and humid sleeping environment, which was very unpleasant). Staff efficient and helpful, but not warm. Gym had a lack of obvious thermostat, which also led to exercising in 24-26 degree temperatures, which was very unpleasant. Layout of the room with a clear panel in the restroom made no sense because if one party had to use the restroom in the middle of the night, the light would transmit into the main bedroom area (see photos attached).
