Fantastic Place & Fabulous Restaurant

Fabulous place to stay in Harbin. Our Suite was clean, comfortable, spacious, great views (could see the Harbin Ice & Snow World from our window), free buffet breakfast, club lounge access, and super nice staff. There is a wonderful restaurant, Shang Kitchen, at the hotel where you must have the Peking Duck - but order ahead of time or it will hake 70 minutes to prepare. We waited while enjoying drinks and appetizers, and the Peking duck was worth the wait. Chef slices it beautifully and the duck was sumptuous, tender, moist, flavorful, and the skin crispy and perfect. We would stay at Shangri-La when we visit Harbin.

Good facilities

Excellent views from our rooms and from the lounge on 28th floor where breakfast is served. Choice of food abundant, service good. The facilities are well maintained. The lifts are spacious and so quick to respond, there's practically no need to wait. All in all, a very comfortable stay.

Wonderful hotel, great staff, clean comfortable large suite, excellent food, especially the club lounge, Peking duck at Shang Kitchen, and buffet breakfast.

From the moment I stepped through the doors, every detail reflected a commitment to excellence that made me feel valued and welcome.The hotel’s management has clearly cultivated a culture of service that shines through every interaction. The staff—from front desk associates who facilitated a seamless check-in (complete with a thoughtful room upgrade) to concierge teams who assisted with luggage and local recommendations—were attentive, professional, and genuinely eager to help.
One of the most charming surprises was the hotel’s Tiger Mascot in the lobby—an absolute hit that brought joy to guests of all ages. The mascot was incredibly engaging, posing for photos with enthusiasm and adding a playful, memorable element to the stay. This creative touch not only reflects the local connection to Harbin’s Northeast Tiger Park but also shows the management’s attention to detail in crafting unique, joyful moments for guests . It’s the kind of unexpected delight that turns a great hotel stay into a story worth sharing, and I loved how it encapsulated the hotel’s blend of professionalism and warmth.
