The location was in a small village outside of Mianzhu or Deyang. It was a beautiful place surrounded by farmland to the front and bamboo-covered mountains to the back.
The staff were very helpful with our requests. We mainly communicated through translation app, as they did not speak English.
The hot springs were available to us every day. You could easily walk or also ask for a buggy ride up to it. Some of the large hot spring pools were closed, we believe due to it being winter time. But there were still more than 12 hot springs open.
If you are a westerner travelling here, don’t expect a cozy residents bar. There is a bar area but not that equipped.
We did not try the hotel restaurants. We walked 1km or 2km into the village and had many cheap restaurant options and the locals were very friendly and accommodating with our lack of Chinese. The room had a torch also available, which made it easy to walk along the road when it was dark.

The hotel has been remodeled in the past few years, and the number of rooms has increased, but the facilities in the hot spring department are indeed aging, and the door of the locker room fell off when the handle was pulled. The safe in the room was replaced three times and all of them were broken. The catering department has improved, the breakfast has been enriched, and the freshly cooked noodles and freshly fried fried dough sticks are delicious.

In a hotel at the foot of the mountain, it seems that some units have reserved the venue and put up lights and festoons here, probably for the annual meeting. The entrance of the lobby is full of luxury cars, which shows that it is not an ordinary alley. Bathing is highly enjoyable, but unfortunately the weather in Mianzhu was very hazy when I went there, and the foot of the mountain could not be outside.

The room facilities are relatively old, more than 800 a night is really not cheap, the breakfast is good, and the service is good. It's just that the front desk is sitting for the whole process of check-in and check-out, and I don't feel high-quality service. There are many service staff, no one leads, no one introduces. The hotel is very large, with villas. The hot springs are still good, but compared with the hot spring hotels in Guangdong, Fujian, and Hainan, except for the large land, the service is really not special. It was very quiet to sleep at night, and overall it was okay. Bath towels, slippers, etc. feel like they were put in the room casually, and the sanitation is so-so. The room type 732 I booked at the beginning was relatively old, old and broken. Later, I changed to room 880 and it was more comfortable. Then, if you go to the hot spring, there are both indoors and outdoors, but it still feels like it’s not a natural hot spring. hot water.
