Huge Hotel with great sport facilities

The Everbright might not be in the city center, but via Metro everything is in reach. I stayed on the 24th floor, and had a great view towards the city center. Especially at nihgt, when they light up the buildings, it is a spectacular veiw.
The sport facilities are amazing: huge indoor pool (5 lanes 25m), outdoor Tennis, gym, Table Tennis, Aerobic, Martial Arts, to name a few...

Nice but poor staff

Staff Not helpful but it has a lot of potential
Rooms are spacious and clean. The lifts are always crammed and take forever. Happy just could be better
Handy location for work but a friendly smile or being helpful would help

Just a Strange Place

This Hotel is based on one of the oldest Expo Centers in Shanghai. The Quality of Servive is not to describe, because there is no service available. When I arrived, Businesscards of young Ladies Re already in my Room. Whatever, there are some copies of seven eleven around and one KFC next door. That's all.
The Hotel have two Towers, I booked the modern one. The Bed is made from Stone and the feeling is not so god. Whatever, for this meeting it was ok, but take care what you book....

Only location was good...

I stayed in this hotel because of fairs in the same building. First impression - 40 Chinesee fighting each other next to reception desk. No reaction, no security. In the room big bed, small desk. In bath room - bathtub.
Internet connection - very slow.
Breakfast - two types - for Asian people and western style. In the morning it was not easy to find place to eat.
It's time for general renovation.

Dissapointment

I spend two nights in this hotel during a buisness congress that took place in it.
Although it's convenient to stay in the same hotel of the Congress, this hotel is just the wrong choice:
1. Old fashioned and desperately needs renovation
2. The bed matrress is as hard as the floor. Bad sleep quality, woke up in pain... it's the same for all the rooms.
3. Hotel staff are not nice and helpful, and most of them don't speak english.
4. The location is far from everything
Too bad, because Shanghai is awesome....
