A calm suspended in the heights.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel.
From the very first moment, the atmosphere conveys an elegant calm, almost suspended over the city. The breakfast was a perfect start to the day: simple, well-prepared, and with a view that makes time seem to pass more slowly.
The service was attentive without being intrusive, something I value greatly. Everything flows naturally, as if every detail were designed for you to simply feel good without effort.
It is one of those places where luxury does not need to be explained, it is simply felt.
Without a doubt, a place I would like to return to.

Amazing staff

Amazing place, super nice staff！
Got a south facing room, it was great, but not as spectacular as the west facing ones.
Breakfast is also great.

Exceptional service

Thoughtful, warm service and a genuinely lovely stay. The service was excellent throughout, and what really stood out were the people. The concierge team, Jerry at the front desk, Olivia and the team at 100 Century Avenue, and the staff at the Park Salon all went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable.
We would happily return.

Great staff but disappointed with the higher Management

My husband and I stayed at Park Hyatt Shanghai for three nights. There was an incident with the food in the Park Salon right after we checked in, although Miranda (Assistant manager) and Eason ( trainee) from the Park Salon did their best to make things right for us, which we appreciate very much. I only give two stars, because we unexpectedly met the higher management the night before we check out, and this manager made it clear that he was aware of the food incident and he knew exactly who we were, where and when the incident happened, and even where we were sitting for breakfast the day after the incident. I was shocked that despite having been well aware of the incident, the manager did not come to us at once to at least acknowledge the incident, much less attempt to apologize or rectify the situation.
I did not want to escalate the situation initially because the Salon staff really tried to make things right for us, but when the higher management told me that he was already aware of what had happened yet made no attempt to acknowledge/correct the mistake himself despite casually letting us know that he had observed us at breakfast for two days in a row already, that extremely upset me. I was shocked and disappointed with the way higher management handled a very serious food concern! We have been loyal to Hyatt for many years and found this behavior very unbecoming for the brand.
On a good note, we are very thankful to Lucas and Tommy from the concierge desk for being extremely helpful with all of our transportation needs.
We will be contacting management directly as this is not only a customer service issue, but a health and safety issue as well.

This hotel is a business asset- love it!

Top notch customer service. Hotel staff took care of my every need and made sure the whole experience was worry free which allowed me to concentrate on closing business deals. I appreciate the effort by staff. I will definitely be back as I see this hotel as an asset to my business. kudos. Staff was trustworthy and followed through.
