Incredible service from the front desk staff. Highly recommend!"
The hotel has a great location and friendly staff, but unfortunately, my stay was a bit disappointing due to the thin walls—it was quite noisy at night. The room was also a bit smaller than expected. However, the cleanliness was decent. Hope they can improve the soundproofing for a better experience.

Located at a beautiful historic compound, the hotel itself is very nicely maintained with great restaurants, cafe and facilities on-site.

Quiet and leafy location with cafes/restaurants within walking distance; easy to get to the Bund within 20 mins by cab. Staff very helpful; rooms beautiful; breakfast good - but the Chinese food is much better than the Western fare (which could be slightly disappointing). But on the whole very difficult to find fault with the system experience.

Location matters
Located in the French Quarter, good atmosphere around the hotel. Larger property. Has everything one needs. Good skyline from the upper rooms. Rooms would be large enough if they were not over-furnished. A couple does not need a round stone dining table with an estimated diameter of 1.30 meters. And additional office chairs. The lounge bar on the ground floor is a disgrace: completely worn-out furniture and dirty. The cocktails were, however, okay. One could also sit outside.
