We thought with its exciting history we would enjoy spending more time exploring Liugong Island once the day trippers leave. So we decided to overnight at the Liugong Island Hotel. Upon arrival we were picked up by a staff member, taken to register & driven to our accommodation. The service was prompt & helpful. Although the room was within walking distance of the harbour, having the van service takes the hassles & guesswork out of the check-in procedure.
There are a lot of eateries to the left of the harbour but since the hotel is on the right there weren’t much choices. We were shocked to discover that most of restaurants don’t stay open after 6.00 pm or so. Liugong Island is no Gulangyu!
However we did take a long walk around the island, just to see what it has to offer. If you enjoy peace, tranquility & have the time, the island is a good respite & naturally the place to stay is the Liugong Island Hotel!

Picture 1 is the accommodation on the island. If you want to live on the island, you have to squeeze in a standard room with your two children and four people. It is still very comfortable to live in. The air conditioner is also very warm in winter. It must be more comfortable to live on the island in summer. You can order breakfast at the hotel, and you can order a la carte for lunch and dinner, which are delicious and hygienic and not expensive.

Very hot colors, stone houses, barracks renovation, very quiet at night, suitable for self-cultivation!

The room is not big, suitable for a family of three. It was renovated from the old barracks. The environment is very special. The yard is full of fig trees and pomegranate trees. Good taste and quality

I brought my parents and children to Liugong Island by car and stayed at the Liugong Island Hotel. I experienced the enthusiasm of Weihai people, the service attitude is very good, the toiletries are complete, and the temperature in the room is suitable. In short, the family is very happy.
