The hotel graciously upgraded us to a bigger room without asking. The room was very spacious and luxurious. Warren from the front desk was very accommodating and friendly.
Will definitely visit again when I am in wuxi!

Very good overall, aside from the breakfast

Overall a very good hotel in an excellent location. It is a short walking distance from the main old town walking street, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and cafes also nearby. The subway is a bit further away so not walkable with big bags, but still easy to get to by taxi and not far from the main train station(s).
The room was good and the gym is fairly small but well equipped and easily sufficient for a good workout The pool is also decent, although a minor annoyance was that the Jacuzzi was not full and turned off. Why advertise it, if it will not be in use? A small thing, but worth noting.
The only major drawback of the stay was the breakfast buffet, which was pretty awful, especially if you prefer some Western-style options. To be honest, it felt like most of the food was leftovers from the Chinese restaurant. There were some fresh pastries, but unless you just want sugary treats for breakfast, not really enough. The coffee from the machine was also awful. In future, I would just not pay for the breakfast and instead go to the good brunch bakery/cafe, which is just a few doors down.
Aside from the breakfast, it was a very good spot and I would definitely go back.

The hotel is near to 南长街, walking distance about 3-5min. The hotel receptionists are very helpful and friendly! Will visit again.

Stayed in this Rocase serviced apartment, rooms 8601 and 8606 (level 6, not 8). Rooms are very clean, spacious. There are 2 separate bedrooms with a king size bed and a queen size bed in the other. Each has its own ensuite toilet. Equipped with a kitchenette, washing machine and dryer combined. Asked reception for detergent powder. Walking distance to nearby 南禅寺 and the street was a delight to walk and shop at after dinner. Good for a 1-2 day stay. Morning International breakfast was a 50m walk away to the adjoining Rocase Hotel basement 1. Only thing is that the reception staff could have been more hospitable and smile more. Would definitely stay here again.
