We stayed in this hotel with our baby, so we asked for a non-smoking room. However, the hotel provided us a smoking room. We asked the front desk but seemed they were unable to speak English. It was ok to stay for a night, but if for several, we might changed to another hotel.
Bedding was soft.
Their breakfast buffet was awesome. More choices than other same star hotels. Staff in the restaurants were nice.

The stay was comfortable, the location is not a prime area but it's easy to get around. There are restaurants and a supermarket right around the corner. Overall, we enjoy our stay here.

Value for money
It is located in Siming area so a taxi ride is economical and convenient way to go around.
Breakfast is Chinese food but brewed coffee, bread and yoghurt are available.
Bottled water is replenished daily.

Everything was clean and organized, and the bed was very comfortable. I also got some yogurt and tangerines, which were really a nice addition because the day was long and hot and it was a perfect way to cool down.
It seems though that if you end up showering, like me, after 1am there isn't much hot water. But early in the morning there was.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay a lot and will recommend.
