I have stayed at The Grace many times. A lovely boutique hotel with the best shower pressure. However, my room, although very clean, was showing several signs of age and was in need of serious refreshing.
It was a struggle to open the kitchenette cupboards, the fridge didn't work, no plates, mismatched cutlery. In the bathroom, stains on the walls, missing plaster and grout and items hanging off the wall.
It was a shame to see a hotel that I love looking quite tired.

The place is very cute, and with an amazing location, steps away from a hotspot full of amazing restaurants and coffee shops. Safe area.
That being said, the building is 4-5 floors and there is no elevator, so it’s hard to go to the last floor carrying luggage, also take in mind that the staff has to go up everytime you ask for something like towels.
Everything else was good.

MANY FAILURES

It wasn't my first time, generally speaking, things went well, but this time I booked with Booking. From the airport-hotel transfer, they didn't greet me, they didn't contact me, and then Booking didn't respond to my concern. I arrive at the hotel, they assign me a room, I go in and oh surprise, a closet with a suitcase and clothes hanging, it was already occupied. Then the TV with pirated cable system in English and Claro decoder DOES NOT WORK. Go to sleep, but the noise of the refrigerator wakes you up every 40 minutes.
Good breakfast and goodbye.

Its beautiful, no elevator. Room was on 4th floor. Other than that, will return again
