Pleasant experience

I loved this hotel because it offers a concept where you have more contact with the beach.
Its location is pretty good for those looking to disconnect from the noise of the city.
The room was quite comfortable and I loved that we were offered massage service in the room with an extra value but it was worth it.

Nice place to unplug.

Location beautiful, food was great, breakfast was also consistent.
Staff is super kind and super service oriented.
The room reserved needs a bit of maintenance, the outside looks awesome, and the location is great as is ocean front, but the inside needs improvements.
Overall staff and management and location/surroundings are great.

Nice landscaped property on the beach but there is no hot water

The hotel is located in a quieter part of the beach. The property is beautiful landscaped and the staff are all very nice. I would say the food prepared by the kitchen are of fine dining quality as well. The room however is very basic with no coffee machine (for hot drinks) or hot shower. We already stayed in a more expensive bungalow which cost more than USD 110. In fact the whole property does not have hot water for shower. We are also not able to get hot water for tea after 8pm as there is no coffee machine or other means to make a hot drink after the kitchen is closed.

A nice place that has amazing staff!

This is a great place to stay. The manager Francisco is fantastic and will go out of his way to make your stay wonderful. The ladies that do the food and cleaning are so nice and very helpful.
One word of warning! You NEED aircon, do not think you can survive on fans alone, especially if you are not on the beach!
One word of warning! This is not a beach for children, IMHO! The surf is very powerful, if you have little kids, stay in Santa Marta

A colorful and charming hotel

Palomino is a paradise and beach mandala the Eden. It is a lovely place where I enjoyed every minute with my family. We relax, we enjoy the beach. We loved the food. We stayed in a cabin called the whale, which is located in front of the sea. I did not want to wear shoes, because being barefoot was a delight. The hotel staff is very friendly and they were attentive to everything we needed. From there, it was very fun to walk on the beach, especially to the Palomino river. We loved this place
