It's the 2nd time I've been to this hotel and it really is wonderful. To share with the family is spectacular. We were in a family cabin that is up to 6 people. I went with my in-laws, my husband and son. All super comfortable. Food is delicious Breakfast is included is a la carte. My son loved the mini pancake bowl. It overlooks the dam, is close to Guatape and has water sports included. Really super recommended.

Spectacular hotel!

I was in La Pausa this weekend and it was amazing. It’s a perfect place to disconnect and really rest. The service was excellent and the food spectacular.
It could be the best hotel in El Peñol. I left happy and eager to return. Super recommended.

Beautiful and serene

We had a lovely time at La Pausa, despite the uninspiring weather during our visit. The hotel has excellent views of the lake and our cabin was a tad rustic, but very comfortable.
We loved the hot tub and enjoyed just hanging around the grounds. The gas fires on the veranda are a great idea too.
Staff could not have been more helpful, both on WhatsApp and in person.
The restaurant is on the more expensive side for dinner, but we enjoyed our meals. Breakfast was delicious.
We were woken up at 6am by a neighbour’s gardener cutting grass, which wasn’t ideal. The staff could not have been more sorry, but there was realistically nothing they could have done about it.

Beautiful natural setting. The room was well set-up and we appreciated the unexpected small kitchenette. Enjoyed using the complimentary SUPs for a morning paddle. Perfect for a romantic weekend away.
