Melgar Getaway

I was with my family last weekend and I really liked that they already fixed many things between them the elevator and the areas like pool, the restaurant has a new Chef and the food has raised the quality, hopefully they will continue working like this. Greetings

Good morning,
We want to share our experience in the hotel, upon arrival we were very well received the staff is friendly but when entering the rooms these are not adapted for the use of families:
1. The bathroom curtains are full of mushrooms and visibly look dirty the bathtub drain was full of hairs that are observed with the naked eye and the toilet was not the best
2. The TV screens were damaged and we were given room 307 and had to be removed as the air conditioning was not working, however in the two rooms we met there were fridges in terrible conditions, full of rust and dirty, they are also not fit to be able to wash food.
After observing this we wanted to withdraw from the hotel we did not last more than an hour in the facilities and we were charged a penalty of 210,000, remaining money have not wanted to return communication has been impossible, the review is not based on the return of the money but on how careless the facilities have.

Good solid hotel

The hotel is within walking distance of the center. The staff is always friendly and eager, unfortunately few can speak English but the app makes everything easy !
Breakfast is sufficient. The pool is cleaned daily, rooms also always , sometimes you have to pick up the fresh towel but that's ok. Garage available and with the small kiosk you will also survive.

Not consistent cost-service quality

The careless facilities, placed us in a room with the bathroom (washbasins) in bad condition. The breakfast quite basic and the products offered by the pool limited. They did not have enough products and little cooling. Drinks like beers served with ice because they had no refrigerated products. The attention in general improvised and with few details of attention to the user. The cost-benefit ratio is not good.

Okay, but they need better management.

They changed our room because the first one the door was not good and at first there was no signal, in the second room the air of one room did not work and there was no water and when ordering lunch they gave us a meat that tasted bad as if it was past.
