Very nice

Huge room, well arranged and equipped. The building is beautiful, the patio and front terrace are very nice. The staff is lovely. Top security.
The neighborhood on the other hand is quite uninteresting.

We arrived and we were greeted and immediately felt like part of the family.
The hotel is beautiful, charming and historic.
Breakfast was a home cooked breakfast not buffet food. Cooked with care.
We will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others

Hotel Don Alfonso is historic and beautiful! We enjoyed exploring every charming area! The entire staff was friendly and helpful, and Louis was exceptional—greeting us right away at check-in, sharing helpful information about the area, and even offering to help us improve our Spanish, which we really appreciated.
The location is excellent and within walking distance of many restaurants, including two great Peruvian restaurants across the street that became our favorites. As expected in a city, it can be a little noisy, but the convenience of the location made up for it.
Breakfast was delicious, and when we had to leave early for an excursion, the hotel kindly prepared a breakfast to go. Our room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The first night the air conditioner wasn’t working properly, but the staff quickly offered us another room with a working unit, which made the rest of our stay much more comfortable.
We really appreciated the hospitality and service and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Romantic hotel with a soul.

Hotel with a few rooms, well located, in a former large colonial style house. The rooms on the first floor are spacious and bright. They deserve to be better insulated (doors and windows), this area is quite noisy (road traffic, restaurants, cafes...). The bedding is comfortable. Bedside lamps or e-readers are missing. The bathroom is also spacious. Rooms overlooking the patio are quieter but smaller and less lit. A rich breakfast is served on request in the interior patio (no buffet, no coffee machine). The staff is friendly and helpful.

Charming place but not lacks the quietness I prefer. This is the same with most places in Colombia, so it’s not a deal breaker. The hotel is clean and staff is friendly.
