I had a sudden change in travel plans and needed to book a hotel room during a layover in Bogota. I did so, but I messed up that booking and had to look again at the airport in Popayan after I landed late in the morning. Thanks to the very helpful staff at Hotel Boutique Confort Suites, I was in a perfect room by 1PM. The bed was comfortable, the suite well-stocked with coffee machine, glassware, shower supplies and quiet. It is mere minutes from the airport, close to a grocery store, and peaceful at night (I woke to the sound of a horse passing in the street around 5:30am). Breakfast was delicious. Many thanks to the staff for helping a weary traveler.

What a great place
The hotel is really cute. I liked it because the bedroom I stayed in was huge. It looked like a little apartment. The bed was comfortable and they offer a variety of pillows for every taste... The staff was nice and the neighborhood was ok. In front of the hotel there's a huge supermarket to buy everything you need.

Very disappointing
My husband and I have visited Colombia four times. We keep returning because of our great experiences with honest, kind, and helpful people, incredible adventures, and the natural beauty of the country. Unfortunately this was not our experience at the Confort suites.
Only good thing I can say about his hotel was that the room was well appointed and clean. I did not like the location was about six blocks from the main square. Hotel was on an unpleasant street across from the supermarket and we were nervous about
walking back late at night. The breakfast was one of the worst I've ever had at any hotel. It included watered-down coffee, under or over ripe fruit, cheapest quality of
meat, and served in an unpleasant windowless and smelly room. The bathroom was in a glassroom with a door that did not reach the ceiling, so there was no privacy in the bathroom.
Our biggest complaint was the staff's refusal to help us in any way. Upon checking. In, we had asked them about a bus to San Agustin. They said they would call. They never did. I asked them again the next day, and Leyde Morales told me the buses were complete, I asked her to call another company and she said there was no answer. I asked her if we should go to the bus company directly and she said there were no buses,She then told me the only option was a taxi that would cost $130.00, which she proceeded to arrange. I then asked her about a bus to Sylvia, and she said there were no buses. Again she said we had to take a taxi, which would cost $60.00. We then went to the bus depot, where there were at least 4 companies selling tickets for San Agustin, and the minivans left for Sylvia every 20 minutes. In all our travels' we have never encountered an experience like this.

Estamos absolutamente sorprendidos por sus comentarios, de hecho parece que no son las mismas personas que se alojaron con nosotros ya que siempre los vimos complacidos.
Desde el mes de Enero Uds. realizaron la reserva y pudieron ver atraves de nuestra página tanto la ubicación del hotel (por cierto a tres cuadras del centro histórico) como nuestras instalaciones. De hecho Uds. decidieron alojarse después de mirar y constatar como son nuestras habitaciones.
En cuánto a los desayunos en 7 años de trayectoria jamás habíamos recibido una queja sobre la calidad y contenido, siempre nos aseguramos de ofrecer lo mejor, junto a una excelente presentación y variedad.
Entre las cosas que nuestros huéspedes resaltan es la calidez en la atención y el trato amable y presto a ayudar, con Uds. fue igual, de hecho se solicitó con una agencia un tour a San Agustín ya que el hotel no cuenta con este tipo de servicio.Esto se realizó atraves de "San Agustín Mágico y Ancestral" que posteriormente Uds. decidieron cancelar.
Si Uds. tenían quejas sobre el servicio, debieron expresarlas en su momento para poder hacer los correctivos necesarios, durante la prestación del mismo.

Very inviting
Although the street of the hotel is unattractive, the hotel is an inviting oasis after a long drive. The suites are very large with extremely comfortable beds, decorated in a light modern colors. There is a desk, a small eating table, and with many windows. The overall feel is modern. I felt very comfortable with the space, the airiness, and the appointments. The staff was extremely helpful, directing me to various restaurants and points of interests. When at breakfast I said I did not want orange juice from a can (something that does not belong to a hotel of this order,) the staff member made one from papaya and the next morning there was freshly made orange juice. Although the hotel is not in the centro historico, it is really only a few minutes walk. I would recommend the hotel.
