Good rest

We booked the hotel for one night and it was nice and calm. We could sleep comfortably. Breakfast is included and if you are leaving early they will pack some food for you.

Nice Hostel and Location, but Problems - Would Not Stay Again

We reserved a room with private bathroom at this hostel based on the good reviews. However it didn't live up to to those reviews. Room #4 is in a different building (down the street) from the office so you will dragging your luggage down the street. And breakfast is served a at a 3rd location - their sister hostel which looked much better to us. Our room (4) overlooked the street and the common balcony, so there's a lot of street noise and other guests using the balcony right outside your window. There's no hot water and the shower drain was very slow. The rooms in this building are also up a narrow spiral staircase - not easy to use.
Overall, a good location (2 blocks from the coast and many restaurants) but there are better properties in Riohacha.

Professional staff waiting the wordwide travellers as a family home ready to give You all information for best stay in this fantastic hostal equipped with anything guests needs. Large room , satisfactory and clean bathroom with a cozy common space!

Nice, cozy hostel

We stayed here for 2 nights in La Tercera. There are only 3 rooms there so it's pretty quiet there. The rooms are spacious and the beds have separate blowers and curtains. There is a pool and cozy rooftop bar in their main part, just 2 minutes walk. The breakfast is also very good and freshly made with fruits. We really loved our stay here.

A beautiful place to stay with friendly,helpful staff

I spent two nights at this hostel last April-2019.It was just what I wanted.I arrived from Santa Marta and was a bit concerned because I wanted to visit the sand dunes and the desert of La Guajira but had nothing booked.I need not have worried!Within 5 minutes of arriving at this hostel the lovely lady at reception had not only handled check-in but also had booked me on a day tour of the desert all the ways up to Cabo de la Vela.This was just what I wanted....The room itself was very clean and more than adequate for my needs.I missed breakfast the first morning-due to the 5.30 am start for Cabo de la Vela-but breakfast the second morning was really good-more than enough food to set me up for the day....On my first night I even managed to meet the lovely Swiss owner of the place-such a friendly person with plenty of time to talk to his guests....I am happy to recommend this place very highly and gladly give it 10 out of 10.
